guard duty on christmas was a bad bad idea. oh wait, i didn't have a choice. and i haven't been doing guard for some time, so that 24 hour shift was painful. plus, i'm doing another 24 hours this weekend, the first sunday of 2009. great way to start the new year huh.

friday. celebrated my sisters' birthdays at Jumbo@Dempsey. food and ambience was not bad. chilli crab was.. too spicy heh. will post photos when i get them.

today. hung out with the poly folks. john luke boon weichao yukwai. pool, starbucks, movie. transporter 3 was so-so. the first was probably way better. johnny and tortai joined for dinner. been some time since this many people managed to show up.. so yeah.

made random supper. cheese and raw sugar toast. no jerry, theres no ham in here.

today's annual leave day 14 of 14 for 2008. yea i think thats the last of it.

update. had a ridiculously long ten day block leave for the first week of december, then went for 4 days of FATEP which finally ends all the crazy outfield training, then i settled my combat shoot yesterday (unfortunately not $200 richer). so the only thing left before heading next year is.. guarding camp on christmas day. oh well..

okaay maybe not so free.. unless you don't feel the guilt when you walk out the store, free coffee in hand, past the auntie holding the salvation army donation tin. oh well.

not the super long queue and over-crowdedness i was expecting. maybe its the rain..

and free coffee has to go with cheap dinner (: not the best match but still..
