this weekend feels like 省钱大计划 in execution.

this is one point three. for some reason, i decided to stop procrastinating and overhauled this place. (technically: i did a clean install of b2evo, hooked up the old db, sorted out the incompatibilities, threw in a new base skin, designed a decent header image, and restored the old sidebar sections.) all that was like two days worth of work. looks about the same as before from the front, but the new version makes life much easier for me behind the scenes

went back to camp this morning for battalion family day, so now my folks know my living conditions in-camp are awful(-ly pleasant) and my inefficient daily maintenance routine (if not on waiting for things to happen mode). oh well.

tue. ippt. barely passed. points: 5 5 5 4 2.
wed. mass urine screening. disgusting. revolting. seriously.
thu. battery outing. bowling @ CDANS bukit batok. scored a 101 and 55. who the heck plays 3 straight games -.-
fri. caught death race with ivan and wz. show was not bad..
sat. lunch and coffee with wanjia. dropped by shijin's bday bbq turned into aunt's home hangout thing.
sun. AHM. rather screwed up organisation. then again, any event that involves the A in AHM just has to go wrong somewhere doesn't it? quite a fun run nevertheless. more time spent on dodging people though..

running yourself is way easier than conducting a run for 600 others. 'nuff said. doing guard right after conducting, and burning half a weekend in the process is added torture. oh well. clearing off on mon, ippt on tue, doping test (!?) on wed, battery outing on thu, battalion outing on fri, rest on sat, 10km AHM on sunday. (hopefully off-in-lieu on mon). blah.

been a while since i updated this place.. and i'm having one of those its not like the sky fell and i have to blog moments.. so yeah.. since the past few weeks have been routine and blah.

caught up with fuei and mei two fridays back for dinner, a gathering that was delayed for 2 months plus. but yeah, its always like finally when we manage to sit down together. thanks for the cake and chocolate

last saturday, for some really random reason, i went back to microsoft to attend mix for students. it was like msp alumni with a couple of ex-msps back to relive the old days hah. nice to see new faces and a refresher of the folks and topics.
